If your inspector.......

If your inspector doesn't use infra red, important information may be missed such as...

-moisture intrusion not seen by the naked eye.
-electrical "hot spots" caused by loose wires, overfused circuits, over loaded circuits and more.
-missing insulation and other energy losses.
-unwanted critters in attic insulation.
-blocked heat ducts.
-how can he evaluate radiant heating systems?
-and much more.

If your inspector isn't equipped or educated on mould problems what will he do if a mould situation is noticed? Ignore it? Refer you to a mould specialist? If some one in your family has respiratory problems and mould is an issue for you, you need an inspector that's equipped.

Computer generated report with pictures and comments, tips, links etc? or a simple checklist report with no pertanant information on the house you are looking at with just checked off squares?

Informed buyers are looking for more than their inspector with a ladder, flashlight and simple checklist report. I take your home buying experience seriously and have built my reputation on that. Up to date, educated, experienced and informative inspections is my number 1 priority.
